Your details.
Your call.
We ask for what it takes to drop a bin or send a crew, and nothing else. No ad trackers, no selling your number, no surprises. Here is all of it in plain words.

The short version
- We use your details to price, book and finish your job, and to send the invoice.
- We never sell or rent your details, and we don't run advertising trackers on this site.
- Ask us and we'll show you what we hold, fix it or delete it.
What we collect
Only what you type or send us when you book, ask for a price or get in touch:
- Contact details: your name, phone number and email.
- The job: the street address, town and postal code, the date and window you pick, where the bin or the items are, and any notes you add.
- Photos of the pile or the spot, if you choose to send them.
- Messages: texts, emails and call notes about your job.
- Job records: your invoice, the scale ticket for a bin, and the before-and-after photos our crew takes on site.
Why we need it
- To confirm your price and your window, and to text you 30 minutes before we arrive.
- To find your driveway and put the bin exactly where you asked.
- To send your invoice with the photos, and the certified scale ticket for a bin.
- To keep the tax and accounting records the law requires.
We only contact you about jobs you booked or asked about. No newsletters unless you ask for them.
Who sees it
Our own team: the people who answer the phone, plan the route and drive the truck. Beyond us, only the services we need to run the job, and only the part each one needs:
- Our email, text-messaging and booking tools, to receive your request and reply to you.
- Our payment processor, to save your card and charge it after the job.
- Our accountant, for invoices and tax records.
The landfill scale ticket shows our truck and the weight, not your name. We share details with anyone else only if the law requires it.
Before we ever use a real job as an example on this site, we ask first, and we remove your name and street.
What stays on your device
This site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. A few conveniences are saved in your own browser, and never sent to us on their own:
- A booking in progress, so a refresh doesn't wipe it. It clears when you close the tab.
- Your name, phone and email after you book, so the next booking is faster. Tap Not you? Clear them on the booking form to remove them.
- Your town or postal code, so prices show your delivery zone.
- Your “Was this helpful?” answers on the FAQ, so you aren't asked twice.
“Use my location” on the service areas page works out your nearest town in your browser. Your location never leaves your phone.
Like most sites, the pages load fonts from Google Fonts and some photos from Unsplash and Pexels. Those services see your device's internet address when they send the file, the same as visiting any website.
Photos
Photos you send are used to confirm your price and plan the job. The before-and-after photos our crew takes show the items and the spot we worked on; we attach them to your invoice so you can check our work. We don't post them anywhere without asking you.
Payment
No deposit. When we confirm your booking, we send a secure link from our payment processor to save your card, and it's charged only after the job is done. Your card number goes straight to the processor; we never see or store it.
How long we keep it
Invoices and the records behind them are kept as long as Canadian tax law requires, usually six years. A price request that never turns into a job is deleted within 12 months. Ask us to delete anything sooner and we will, unless the law makes us keep it.
Your rights
Canada's private-sector privacy law (PIPEDA) gives you the right to see the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to withdraw your consent. To do any of that, or to ask a question:
- Email hello@506junk.com with “Privacy” in the subject line.
- Or call or text (506) 555-0199, Mon–Fri 7 am – 6 pm, Sat 8 am – 4 pm.
We reply within 1 business hour and act on your request within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
If this page changes, we'll update the date at the top. Changes never apply backwards to a booking you've already made.
